Did one of their DJs die a couple of months back? (Not Roger the doctor, RIP) I heard some kind of memorial and meant to find out but never got round to it

"Raving" is often an old people thing nowadays anyway. The youth of today (aged anout 25 and under) like festivals

Mate of mine went that UKG brunch in Manchester, he's mid-30s and reckoned he was one of the youngest there

Most of the music in the mornings is soul/disco/motown to be fair

Any one listening to dance music and over 40 no doubt has a sleeve tattoo.

Bless them."

Anyone under the age of 45 missed it when it was best and is trans.

Bless them/they

Was great back in the day Acid House era when it was the best way to listen to the tunes outside of of an actual rave and keep the party going after.

Re: Centreforce FM
Not for me but my brother knows some of the naughty boys who run it and went to a club night they did when he was 40 and spent the night swerving 60 year birds on E as they shook their lettuce on the dancefloor.

Actually, now that I have written it down and reread it perhaps it IS for me...

Always listen 'LOCKED IN' to Time Tunnel on Thursday and Saturday mornings... good stuff if you into the Mod revival, Motown, Northern Soul, 60's stuff... Swallow, Mickey, Andy Orr, Danny Meakins missus.... all good fun... don't mind the dance stuff but not really my cup of tea... but overall a decent listen

Re: Centreforce FM
I listen occasionally, used to a lot. Know a lot of the DJ's and those who run it.

I'm not fat or a poof..
